Alin & Jesse’s Rainy Wedding Day

When Alin and Jesse first booked me, I could hardly wait for their wedding day. I knew it was going to be one to remember—and it was. Their celebration at Woodlawn Farm in Ridge, Maryland had all the ingredients of a true love story: a little rain, a few unexpected hiccups, and endless joy that outshined it all.

A Rainy Day Beginning

The skies opened up, the ground turned muddy, and shoes quickly collected their fair share of dirt. The shuttle was double-booked and delayed, pushing back the ceremony. And in the middle of it all, the clasp on Alin’s wedding dress broke just before she walked down the aisle.

But did someone run out in the pouring rain for a sewing kit? Absolutely.

And the best part? Through every curveball, Alin and Jesse never lost their cool. Their calm presence and ability to roll with the punches made the day even more meaningful.

Despite the weather and the little mishaps, the love surrounding these two absolutely radiated. Their wedding day was filled with laughter, glistening smiles, and heartfelt moments that proved love always shines brightest in the storm.

Family and friends traveled from Los Angeles and Barcelona, meeting in the middle of Maryland to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime day. The air was filled with so much warmth and connection—it was impossible not to feel it.

Weddings rarely go exactly as planned—rain comes, timelines shift, and dresses sometimes need quick fixes. What truly matters is how a couple embraces those moments. Alin and Jesse did so with grace, joy, and an easygoing spirit that turned every challenge into part of their story. Their Woodlawn Farm wedding was a reminder that the most meaningful celebrations aren’t flawless, but rather full of resilience, laughter, and love that shines brighter than any setback.

As a bicoastal wedding photographer, days like these fuel my passion for what I do. Capturing the unfiltered moments—the clasp being sewn back on, the couple’s calm smiles through the drizzle, and the way the dance floor radiated with energy—was an absolute honor.

To Alin & Jesse: thank you for allowing me to tell your story. Your wedding was a true reflection of who you are, and I can’t wait to see the many chapters of joy you’ll continue to create together.
